If you need financing to buy a home, the first step in your home buying process should be getting pre-approved with a Lender.

Some people get nervous talking to a Lender, but this doesn’t cost you or commit you to anything, and will let you know what you’re financing options are. Even if you’re not able to qualify for financing yet, they will give you a good idea of where you are, and a good Loan Officer will tell you what you need to do to get where you want to go.
Getting pre-approved is not only necessary before making any offers on a home, but it will prepare you with your target range of what priced homes you want to focus on and you’ll be comfortable knowing upfront what payments would look like on that particular price range.
